Back to FAQ Home
You can back up your site database to either the IntraMail CompactFlash Card (if installed) or a customer-provided CompactFlash card (FAT16 formatted). Once backed-up, you can use the CompactFlash to restore the site data if required. The entire system database uses only about 500 Kbytes Of CompactFlash memory.

To back up your site data:

  1. Insert the CompactFlash card onto which you want to store the site data into the system’s IntraMail CompactFlash Card slot.
  2. Use 9041-01: Backup to back up the site data. During the backup:
    • You see Please Wait.
    • The CPU Serial Port LED (DS-80/160) winks on (green).
    • The CompactFlash LED occasionally winks on (red).
  3. When the backup completes (after about 1 minute), you see: Backup Complete!
